GEARED FOR SUCCESS

Introducing the UL-Trac Limited Slip Differential

Drawing on our 70 plus years of motorsport engineering experience we are proud to have now developed what we believe to be the definitive range of performance plate-type, and helical limited slip differential units. The UL-Trac LSD will deliver the ultimate traction, whatever the application.

UL-Trac Plate-Type Limited Slip Differential

Ultimate traction, ultimate performance, ultimate versatility - the UL-Trac plate-type limited slip differential has been developed with tuneability and reliability at its core. Featuring our multi-plate pack design, it can include up to 12 active surfaces and 12 plates, to significantly reduce pre-load the pre-load drop off that some units can suffer with, and with that increase the service intervals.
The heavy-duty internals also feature our unique-design single-piece cross pins, which a are a known weak point in other units. Our versatile dual aspect ramp pack system means that each unit contains alternative ramp settings pre-installed should you wish to change the use of your vehicle. With a range of possible set up options available, each unit is built and set up for your personal needs.
Whether you're in serious motorsport and want the extra edge, or have a fast road car but don't want the usual harshness and noise associated with a plate-type LSD, the UL-Trac unit can be set up perfectly for you.

UL-Trac Helical Gear-Bias LSD

Ultimate traction, ultimate performance, ultimate versatility - the UL-Trac Helical Gear-Bias LSD unit benefits from long term development on important areas like the gear design and tooth profiles, enable maximum surface contact and in turn fully harness the power that requires delivering. This means the UL-Trac can generate the ultimate traction from any torque biasing gear pack: aided by heavy duty springs to reduce wear and maintain pre-load.
The torque-biasing principle uses internal worm gears to progressively transfer drive from one side of the car to the other if there is a loss in traction at one wheel. It does this almost without feeling through the steering wheel - especially beneficial on front wheel drive cars, or all wheel drive cars at the front. Anyone who has driven a front wheel drive car with a clutch plate, or viscous diff, will understand just what a difference the torque biasing design makes. Not only to the feel and comfort but also to the track times, or just pure handling improvement that it delivers over a stock 'open' differential.

Peace of mind

UL-Trac limited slip differentials are covered by a lifetime* warranty on all non-service items and our expert team is only ever a phonecall away for pre-purchase set-up advice, should you require.
